St. Alban's Preschool and Kindergarten is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday during the school year. The school is open year around except for the holidays indicated on the calendar and during teacher preparation week in early August. St. Alban's emphasis is developmentally appropriate practices, building social skills and laying academic foundations. Our younger threes class room has three full-time teachers. The older threes class has two full-time teachers. Children can be enrolled 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Preschool is a morning program running from 9am - 12pm. Additional enrollment options include:
Pre-Kindergarten classes are available for children 4 years of age. The Pre-K program continues to emphasize developmentally appropriate practices, building social skills and laying the foundation for future academics, in addition to introducing students to group projects and the concept of teamwork. The kindergarten program is 5 days a week. It is designed for those children who turn five (5) by January 31. The kindergarten program is a full five-day-per-week class taught by a certified teacher that allows children to work both independently and cooperatively to their fullest potential. Summer Program St Alban's offers 3 summer camp sessions each summer. Summer camp registration will begin in February. Camp hours are 7:30-6:00 Monday-Friday. Session 1 (dates to be announced) Week 1 Campers and staff have an oppertunity to get to know each other.< Week 2 Paint, Patterns and Peace Week 3 Ewwwwww.... I want to touch it!
