St. Alban's Summer Camp 2008
A Fascinating Journey through Books
Session 1: May 29th – June 13th
Week 1: “Welcome, Friendship”
Welcome to camp. Let's meet our
new friends!
Week 2: “The Fabulous, Colorful Books of Eric Carle"
We will venture into
the magical world of Eric Carle. Through his books, we will discover the
creatures that make summer such fun.
Week 3: “Jennifer Ward and TJ Marsh”
We will be guided through the desert
by two Tucson authors.
Session 2: June 16th – July 3rd
Week 1: “Dinosaurs Visit Camp”
We will take a hilarious romp through camp
with Jane Yolan's dinosour books.
Week 2: “The Wonders of Audrey Wood”
Silly is the name of the game when we
read the books of Audrey Wood. Perhaps we will even travel upside
down.
Week 3: “Traveling around the U.S.A”
During this patriotic week, we will
use every form of transportation to make it around the entire USA in one week.
(Camp will be closed Friday, July 4th)
Session 3: July 7th – July 24th
Week 1: “Rowdy Robert Muncsh”
Robery Muncsh has nothing on us for getting
into mischief at Camp.
Week 2: “Nursery Rhymes and Storytelling”
Hickory Dickory Dock, we will
remember all the rhymes of long ago and come up with some of our own.
Week 3: “The Brillant Jan Brett”
We will finish the summer with wonderful
talkes told so beautifully by Jan Brett.
Each week we will use the
author's books as a springboard to adventure. Please join us to
participate in art, music, drama, water days, a talent show, all camp
activities, a vist from the Creepy Crawly Zoo, an all camp building
project and more.

- $4.00 per hour or part of an hour
After 5:45 PM pickup:
$15.00 – 5:45 pm – 6:00 pm, per child

6:00pm – 6:15pm, per child
A non-refundable registration fee is required at the time of
registration.

Tuition for Session 1 is due by May 29, 2008
Tuition for Session 2 is due by June 16, 2008
